Ann Snell is an award-winning multidisciplinary artist. Her art celebrates diversity and sheds light on stories untold. Ann's involvement in Indigenous communities representing 180 artists in her Surry Hills Gallery, Ann Snell Gallery 2003–2016, specializing in Indigenous Art and culture. Her role as a mother of Indigenous children influences her art practice. Themes inspired by First Nations peoples living philosophies invite viewers to explore the connections between humanity and the natural world.
Most recently, Ann has worked in the education sector, developing content for cross-cultural art workshops for local councils and the Department of Education of NSW, and working in education academic support in both primary and high schools.
